Our seasonal menus can be savoured throughout the Bar & Lodge, providing a selection of culinary delights and familiar favourites.

The bar is a relaxed affair with your muddy boots, tired legs and exhausted four-legged friends to sit down, share tales and enjoy some Lakeland hearty grub.

Our restaurant still offers a relaxed experience, set in our beautiful country lodge with endless views rambling across the hilltops.

Sunday Lunch

Have you tried our infamous Sunday lunch?

A proper roast dinner, served the proper way! You choose the main event – whether this is a roast loin of Pork or Beef, served with a mountain of seasonal vegetables, huge Yorkshire puddings, roasties your gran would be jealous of and lashings of Chef’s special gravy.

Thankfully, you don’t have to wait until Sunday to enjoy our award-winning menus.

The Hatch

Our Pizza Hatch is now serving delicious pizzas, beers and ice creams from the gardens. Perfect for a lazy afternoon, a treat after a Lakes Walk or another option for dinner!

James, our award-winning chef and his team of passionate expert foodies are excited to introduce our refreshed menu, inspired by the best of Cumbrian produce and winter flavours.

Expect comforting classics with a creative twist, hearty dishes for cold days, and beautifully balanced plates designed to showcase local ingredients at their very best.
